Frequently asked questions
Absolutely, I actually recommend it if you know someone who would be a good fit for your scene. This way, you act with someone you're already comfortable with. And you can even share the cost of the scene if you decide to!
Alternatively, I can provide actors at a cost of £35 per actor. This is to cover the actor's expenses as well as the time I spend looking for a suitable scene partner.
I do not provide indoor locations at this time, but I am happy to facilitate an outdoor shoot if needed. Be aware that shooting outdoors can create a few complications: weather, background noise, inconsistent lighting, etc...
If you are providing an indoor location:
Make sure that we can have control of the lights on the day, so that we can turn on/off the lights depending on the needs of the scene.
If we are shooting in a place that usually plays music (bar/gym/etc), we also need to be able to turn off the music on the day.
I do not, you have to source costumes and props yourself.
If you book a package, you have to shoot all those scenes in one day. If for example you want to have three scenes filmed, but want them over the course of two days, you'll have to book a Two Scene Package as well as a One Scene Package.
I like to plan for 3-4 hours per scene. It might not actually take that long, but it assures that we have time to film the very best scene that we can.
I shoot all the scenes with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro, Meike S35 Cine Lenses, and professional RØDE audio equipment. I bring lighting equipment to all the indoor shoots. I also own a few vintage lenses that can be used if we want to give your scene a different look.
All editing and colour grading is done using Da Vinci Resolve Studio 20.
I'll try to get you your showreel as soon as possible, but it might take up to 21 days.
I do not provide any raw footage. The edit that I send is what I consider to be the best version of the scene, and takes are chosen depending on performance of course, but also technical elements such as sound, lighting, and continuity.
If you have some notes when I first send you a script, I'm happy to redraft the scene for you once.
I ask for half the payment when you make the booking, in order to secure your date. The other half must be paid before I send any video files to you.
I am based in London, and am happy to travel anywhere within the city. If you want to shoot outside of London, that is fine, but I will ask for you to cover travel expenses as well as accommodations if I need to spend the night away.
Yes, you can reschedule your shoot. If you need to reschedule, get in touch at least 7 days before the shoot date and we'll find a new date that works for both of us. If you want to reschedule less than 7 days before the shoot, I'll have to ask for a £100 rescheduling fee to secure another date.
You can cancel your shoot, but you will lose your deposit ☹️
I retain the rights to all footage shot and can use the footage publicly on my various channels. Scripts produced by Vincent Rosec Films are protected by copyright and cannot be sold or reproduced. However, you can have your name removed from the description of these scenes.
